      GUIDELINES FOR HANDLING FIREWORKS SAFELY

• Make sure to secure your fireworks so that they do not tip over when lit.

• Never point or throw fireworks at another person

• Light only one item at a time and keep a safe distance - never attempt to re-light or fix a dud!

• Put used fireworks in a bucket of water and have a hose ready.

• Always have an adult present... Never let children use fireworks alone and never carry fireworks in your pocket.

• Use consumer fireworks outdoors, away from homes, dry grass or trees.

• Use only approved consumer fireworks, and store in a cool, dry place.

• Observe local laws, use common sense and always read and follow directions on each firework.
